CASCADE Vision Statement
Forthcoming Events
22nd May 2025 | 02.30 PM – 6.00 PM | Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala
FICCI CASCADE firmly believes that creating widespread awareness and fostering informed dialogue are essential in building a robust and proactive strategy to tackle the growing menace of counterfeiting and smuggling. These illicit activities not only undermine legitimate businesses and government revenues but also pose serious threats to consumer safety and national security. In line with this, FICCI CASCADE is organising a “Seminar on Proactive Approaches to Combat Counterfeiting and Smuggling” on 22 May 2025 at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
The seminar aims to serve as a vital platform to bring together key stakeholders—including policymakers, enforcement agencies, industry leaders, legal experts, and consumer rights advocates to deliberate on the far-reaching impact of smuggling and counterfeiting on the economy, public health, and consumer trust. By facilitating constructive discussions, the seminar seeks to not only highlight the gravity of the issue but also emphasize the shared responsibility of all sectors in addressing it. In doing so, we aspire to cultivate a culture of vigilance and responsibility among consumers, businesses, and regulatory authorities alike.

Chairman Speak
Over the years, Illicit trade has undeniably become one of the greatest risks globally. It has played havoc with the social and economic well-being of nations across the world. Illicit trade undermines investments, creates unequal playing field for the legitimate businesses and for some time now provides the fuel that energizes the terror machine.
