4 arrested for selling wheat flour using Jio trademark in Gujarat’s Surat.
Four people have been arrested in Surat of Gujarat for selling whole wheat flour using the Jio trademark. The Gujarat Police said the four people were arrested following a complaint.
Police said Reliance Jio had filed a complaint against a company stating that it was selling whole wheat flour using Jio’s trademark.
“Reliance Jio has filed a complaint at Sachin Police Station in Surat stating that a company named Ram Krishna Tradelink was selling wheat flour using Jio trademark,” Vidhi Chaudhari, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Surat (Zone 3) told ANI.
She said a case has been registered under the Trademark Act based on the complaint and four accused have been arrested in the matter.
