MP: Police nab fake Remdesivir sellers
Indore: Fake injections are being sold in the name of Remdesivir injection during the corona period in Madhya Pradesh. Such a gang has fooled so many people so far. As per the information received, fake injections have been sold to 1200 people across the state so far. Police have so far reached only 3 families whose families have died after being injected. Meanwhile, police are now preparing a list of families who have been given these fake injections and their families have died.
Meanwhile, most surprisingly, many private hospitals have also purchased these injections. According to a website, 700 injections have been sold in Indore and 500 in Jabalpur in the state. As part of the information received, Sunil Mishra, Dinesh Bansilal Chaudhary, and Dhiraj Sajnani, masterminds of the gang selling fake Remdesivir injections, had sold the fake injections to the needy through social media. The gang reportedly used to sell the injection to the needy through social media. He used to charge a hefty sum of Rs.35,000/- in the name of a fake injection.
Police have now detained 5 more persons of the gang. According to police, several social workers are among the accused. Police are currently working to seize fake injections across the state. Last Monday, the crime branch seized 100 fake Remdesivirs from village Satwas in Dewas district late last night. As part of the information received, the police were aware of this by a broker named Chiku.
