PUNE: The Faraskhana police have taken strict action against fake sellers of Apple products in Tapkir Galli and recovered goods worth Rs 4,20,000 on Thursday.

As per information, Bhimrao Manjare, Police Sub Inspector, Faraskhana Police Station, said, “We conducted this investigation in Tapkir Galli on August 3. We have seized fake accessories of Apple company like covers, chargers, watches, USB cables & many more. During the search operation, we did not find any fake mobile phones of Apple. We raided every shop selling fake products.”

Additionally, the police have booked 5 sellers in Tapkir Galli who were booked under Sections 51 & 63 of the Copyright Act 1957. Further investigation is going on.

Faraskhana police have warned sellers of strict action if they find someone selling any kind of fake products.
