Mangaluru: Continuing their crackdown on the illegal sale of liquor intended for defence personnel and Goa-made liquor, excise department officials in Dakshina Kannada seized large quantities of liquor on Saturday.
The raid was conducted at an establishment located at Kambala Cross in Kodiabail, where the officials seized 19.5 litres of military liquor, 52.5 litres of Goa-made liquor, 3 litres of Karnataka-made liquor, and approximately 3 litres of foreign duty-free liquor.
Additionally, 21.5 litres of Goa-made beer, 0.3 litres of Karnataka-made beer, and 1.3 litres of beer meant for military personnel were seized.
