Fraud in cosmetic products can invite jail up to 5 years
Those found guilty of promoting fake or corrupt cosmetic products or committing any other malpractices face four penalties, including fines up to SR5 million or prison term not exceeding five years, according to the new regulations.
The violating facility will be closed down until the irregularities are corrected or the license will be revoked permanently, local media reported, citing the new rules which will come into effect six months from now.
