Large quantity of packaged water bearing fake ISI mark seized in Pune
A city company engaged in manufacturing of packaged drinking water was raided by the officialsofBureau of Indian Standards (BIS) here in which a “very large quantity” of the product was seized.
“BIS raided Sohail Enterprises in Kondhava area of Pune and seized a very large quantity of 20 litre ‘Pet Jars and Cool Jars’ of packaged water with spurious BIS standard mark (ISI) with brand name “Re–Once” without valid licence,” a BIS release said today.
