The Delhi Police raided a factory involved in the manufacturing and distribution of adulterated desi ghee and counterfeit food supplements, police officials said on Thursday.

Five persons have been arrested in the case, and a factory and godown in Jind, Haryana, where the counterfeit products were made and stored, have been seized.

“The factory, concealed in the heart of Jind, churned out fake versions of high-demand food products, including desi ghee from well-known brands such as Amul, Verka, Mother Dairy and Patanjali,” a police official said.
