On 30/09/2024, while police officers and enforcers from Unit 6 were conducting preventive patrolling in the area. At that time, Hrishikesh Takawane got information that a woman was brewing liquor by burning a furnace at Perne village to Kolpe Vasti Road. When the team raided the place, a woman named Neelam Bajrag Pardeshi was found near her house burning a furnace.
About 70 liters of country made liquor and 5000 liters of raw chemicals and other materials worth a total of Rs 4,52,500 have been found in her possession. She has been handed over to Lonikand Police Station for further action.
