Mr. Ravi Mathur has been driving GS1 system of supply chain standards adoption in India across Industry verticals which include retail, healthcare and transport & logistics sectors. GS1 India is affiliated with GS1, Belgium, which oversees a network of over 100 GS1 organizations worldwide. He is a member of the GS1 Global Advisory Council, CII National Retail and Healthcare Councils, Food Safety workgroup, DIT, Government of India National RFID Steering Group, Quality Council of India National Technical Working Group on Global GAP, FICCI Retail Committee, Bureau of Indian Standards Committee on Transport etc. He was awarded the Retail Icon award for 2011 by the Asia Retail Congress in recognition of his contribution to the retail sector in India.
